How do I enroll my child or children?
There are three steps required to enroll a new student or students at any grade level(s).
1. Provide Documentation of Residency
There are several items that must be documented before a child/children may be enrolled. Please see additional information below.
2. Complete Online Enrollment
Annually required of both new and returning families.
3. Attend Registration Day
Registration day will be held at your child/children's school(s) on August 10, 2017.
Documentation of Residency
Parents/guardians should begin the enrollment process for their child/children by providing documentation of residency in the City of Mequon or Village of Thiensville. Parents/guardians are asked to provide documentation of residency at their child's home school. Please see our school attendance zone boundaries if you are unsure which school your child will attend.
If you are a resident of Mequon or Thiensville and your child lives with you, the following documents can be used to establish residency. Utility bills are not accepted as legitimate documents.
- If you rent: A signed copy of your rental agreement
- If you own a home: A copy of your real estate tax bill
- If you recently purchased a home: A signed copy of the closing statement
Please see Residency Requirements for more information.
Your child/children's certified birth certificate(s) or passport(s). Photocopies are not accepted.
Please also bring your child/children's completed Immunization Form(s).
Wisconsin law requires all students to present written evidence of immunization against certain diseases within 30 school days of admission. Read more about Wisconsin's Immunization Reguirements.
If you have a child/children enrolling in grades 9-12, you will also need to provide an official transcript from your child/children's previous school.
If any person other than a natural parent has custody of a child, proof of legal custody or guardianship must also be provided before the child may be enrolled.
Please note that it may take up to 30 minutes to complete the enrollment process. It is not necessary for children to accompany their parent/guardian, however, children are certainly welcome.
