Registration Information

Kindergarten 2012 Pre-Registration

MEQUON, WI - The Mequon-Thiensville School District will be opening registration for kindergartners within the district from January 30 - February 3, 2012. Children who will be five years of age by September 1, 2012 are eligible to register.

Parents may register their children between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the elementary school closest to their place of residence. For a map of school boundaries, please follow this link on the school website.

Parents are asked to bring the following items, all of which are required for registration:

  • Proof of residency
  • Child's immunization record
  • Child's birth certificate

Wisconsin's Immunization Law requires that all students present written evidence of immunization against measles, rubella, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, Hepatitis B, mumps and varicella (chicken pox) within 30 days of admission.

A full physical examination by a doctor and a thorough eye examination are also highly recommended.

It is not necessary for children to accompany their parents at registration time, although they are welcome.

1. Proof of Residency
(Required for all students new to our district and current students who have moved) Please note- you will need a current property tax bill or lease. Utility bill is not accepted as legitimate document.
2. Certified Birth Certificate or Passport
Please note: When registering students new to our district, a certified birth certificate or passport will be required. Photocopies will not be accepted.
