Homestead High School Tennis Courts Rules and Expectations for Pickleball Use
The tennis and pickleball courts at Homestead High School are available for public pickleball play on a first-come, first-served basis. Please help us maintain a positive experience for all players by following these rules and guidelines:
Court Usage
- Public Access Hours: Courts are open for community use outside school hours and after 5:30 P.M. during the high school tennis seasons, weekends, and holidays. Courts may be closed during school events or for maintenance.
- First-Come, First-Served: Play is limited to 90 minutes when others are waiting. Please be courteous and rotate off the courts after your time is up.
- School/Recreation Activities Take Priority: School/Rec. events, tennis team practices, matches, or physical education classes will have priority use of the courts during designated hours.
- Equipment: Players must bring their own pickleball paddles, balls, and portable nets. Only use the designated pickleball lines provided on the courts.
General Guidelines
- No Private Instruction or Leagues: Courts are for recreational play only.
- No Modifications: Please do not add or alter court markings, tape, or other temporary lines. Use only the designated court lines.
