Mequon-Thiensville School District

MTSD 1:1 Chromebook Initiative

The Mequon Thiensville School District is committed to equity and opportunity. This commitment is fundamental in all district planning, including digital learning. The MTSD 1:1 Chromebook initiative supports the district’s strategic plan goals for ensuring academic achievement and growth for each student and providing each student with the opportunities and skills they need to access pathways toward their desired future. Individual Chromebooks provide students the opportunity to be assessed in a secure environment and provide options for expanded feedback from teachers and peers. The district can provide consistent and timely troubleshooting when all students are using a common device. Students are expected to bring their MTSD-issued Chromebooks to school on a daily basis.

Desired Outcomes:

  • Enhanced student achievement
  • Expanded use of high impact instructional strategies and differentiation
  • Greater student engagement
  • Expanded opportunity for student collaboration
  • Equity of access to resources

What do students need to know about their MTSD-issued Chromebook?
