Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student-driven, adult-supported process in which students create and cultivate their own unique and information-based visions for post-secondary success, obtained through self-exploration, career exploration, and the development of career management and planning skills.
Advancement Via Individual Determination, or AVID, is a College Readiness System designed to accelerate student learning and prepare all students for college readiness and success through the use of research-based instructional methodologies. AVID aims to equip students with intellectual skills and behaviors for academic success in rigorous coursework. AVID empowers students with strategies necessary to navigate the educational landscape through an explicit focus on high expectations.
Good building environments result in greater learning potential. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, functional, and attractive environment for students and the community. The buildings and grounds team is trusted to ensure that community tax dollars are used effectively and efficiently while providing a good return on each investment. The team will, without losing focus on the students, maintain a business approach that meets with the most-respected business practices.
Business Services provides a range of financial and business services that include Budget and Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Purchasing, Insurance/Risk Management, and oversight of Food Service and Transportation & Busing.

The Data, Research and Accountability Department strives to enhance the quality of educational decisions by providing accurate and timely data and analysis that support continuous improvement of student learning and achievement.
The Educational Services Department's purpose is to provide leadership to teaching staff, student services, curricular specialists, and administrative staff in the area of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The department implements programs and strategies to ensure the continuous improvement of the education systems in accordance with the mission and strategic plan of the district. The work associated within this department directly impacts the school district’s ability to maximize the academic achievement and personal growth of each student.
Our school nurse is passionate about school nursing and supporting the health needs of our students. The functions of our school nurse include following:
- Providing direct health care to students
- Providing leadership for the provision of health services as a health care expert
- Providing screening and referral for health conditions
- Promoting a healthy school environment
- Serving in a leadership role for health policies and programs
- Serving as a liaison between school personnel, family, community, and health care providers
The Human Capital Department provides leadership in creating exceptional experiences for each educational professional across their employment cycle: attract, recruit, onboard, develop, retain and transition.
We recognize the importance of providing students with technology-rich learning experiences that will prepare them for post-secondary success. We empower students and staff to embrace lifelong learning as critical thinkers, passionate readers, skillful researchers, effective technology users, and ethical users and producers of ideas. Our ability to maximize digital learning among students and our staff will enable them to function in an ever-changing world.
We offer a variety of healthy meal options to students daily as a participant in the National School Lunch Program. Breakfast and lunch are provided through a private contractor, ARAMARK Education. Students may also bring a lunch from home.
Student Services delivers educational services to all students, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to participate fully and access relevant curricula, co-curricular options, and extracurricular activities. Student services professionals achieve this by recognizing and identifying the unique talents, challenges, and needs of individual students. Student support services are a vital part of a comprehensive educational program.
