Mequon-Thiensville School District

Lake Shore Middle School

Design & Construction

Lake Shore updates include a cafeteria expansion and a renovation of music and specialist/support areas to account for current needs. Restrooms will be renovated to improve accessibility for those with mobility impairments and increase hygiene safety. Traffic circulation and queuing will be reconfigured to create better flow. Bus traffic will be routed around the east side of the building and two pick-up and drop-off lanes, separated by a raised median, will be designated at the front entrance to the school. As part of the project, both middle schools will be connected to municipal water and receive enhanced fire suppression and alarm systems.
