Wilson Elementary School

Design & Construction

Wilson updates include an addition to the north side of the building that will feature new music/art areas and gymnasium space. The kitchen and cafeteria areas will be expanded to accommodate increasing student enrollment and restrooms will be renovated to improve accessibility for those with mobility impairments and increase hygiene safety. Traffic circulation and queuing will be reconfigured to create better flow at pick-up and drop-off times. Car traffic will enter on Steffen Dr. and exit on Buntrock Ave. and bus traffic will be confined to the west side of the building. As part of the project, all three elementary schools will be connected to municipal water and receive enhanced fire suppression and alarm systems. Playgrounds at all elementary schools will be improved to feature accessibility for students of all abilities.
