Intradistrict Transfer Request
Per Board Policy 5120, the superintendent or designee may assign a student to a school other than that designated by the attendance area when such exception is justified by extenuating circumstances. Placement is based largely on available space as well as the overall balance of class sizes district-wide. Please fill in all fields of this form completely and accurately. Please complete one form for each student.
The application process does not need to be made annually after approval of the initial placement if the student is continuing to attend the same school (through 5th grade for elementary and through 8th grade for middle school).
Note: For resident intradistrict transfers, parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from school.

Note for Applicants Seeking an Elementary School Transfer:
Elementary school boundary areas are undergoing an adjustment as the final step in our Referendum Project. Final boundaries will be determined at the end of March 2022. At that time, more information about the ability for students to transfer among elementary schools will be available.
