In coordination with our Teacher Appreciation festivities that are ongoing, you have a chance to buy lunch for a Teacher. We collaborate with Miss Molly's Cafe, which is a Milwaukee eatery specializing in fresh ingredients. You buy a lunch online for $13 and once we reach enough lunches purchased for all the teachers and staff Miss Molly's packs their lunch. Lunches include a sandwich, bag of Smart popcorn, fresh fruit, fresh cookie, and seltzer.  Put a smile on someone's face and add a general message of gratitude and thankfulness when you donate.  Bonus!.… Donges Bay will be receiving 10% of the proceeds.

How to Participate:

  • Go to:, enter a quantity of lunches and 'Add to Cart' to begin your order
  • Select Donges Bay Elementary School in the dropdown menu and add your general note

4K Pre-Registration & New 4K Wrap Care

Each year, MTSD holds a designated pre-registration window for four-year-old kindergarten. The purpose of pre-registration is to get an idea of 4K enrollment projections to develop class rosters and determine staffing needs. Families can also indicate their morning or afternoon class preference, and gain other useful information about the program. NEW this year, is the availability of 4K wraparound care through the Mequon-Thiensville Recreation Department. AM and PM sessions will be available at all three of our elementary school sites, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Find out more about the new 4K Wrap Care here.

The pre-registration window will open on February 14, 2022, for the 2022-2023 school year. Please feel free to share the link below with any Mequon or Thiensville resident families you know who have a student entering 4K, or new resident families with a student entering 5K in the 2022-2023 school year.

Please visit our 4K website to learn more about 4K at MTSD and access the pre-registration link when it becomes available.

Volunteers Needed in the ICC

Working in the ICC is a fantastic way to help the school and get to see our students in action. Volunteers primarily shelve books but may be asked to assist with other library tasks from time to time. Currently, the librarians are seeking helpers for Fridays, but more days may be added later. When you sign up for a day, you may come at any time during that school day. An hour is typically a good amount of time to plan on spending. Please note, in your online signup, the approximate time that you will be arriving so that the librarians can be on the lookout for you. Click this link to sign up!

Please note: All visitors and volunteers will be required to follow the mitigation procedures outlined in the MTSD 2021-2022 Operating Plan while they are on campus.
