Spelling Bee Sign Up

Donges Bay PTO is hosting an in-person Spelling Bee on Sunday, January 23 at 3 pm in the Gym for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.

Please sign up to participate by completing the MTK Signup by January 20. We also need parent volunteers! You can use the same form to sign yourself up to help out.

All students are welcome to use the standard Study Guide, or challenge themselves with Words of Champions. Remember, the Spelling Bee is not only about spelling words, but about public speaking in front of a live audience. It is a wonderful challenge and very rewarding to see students try.

Volunteers Needed in the ICC

Working in the ICC is a fantastic way to help the school and get to see our students in action. Volunteers primarily shelve books but may be asked to assist with other library tasks from time to time. Currently, the librarians are seeking helpers for Fridays, but more days may be added later. When you sign up for a day, you may come at any time during that school day. An hour is typically a good amount of time to plan on spending. Please note, in your online signup, the approximate time that you will be arriving so that the librarians can be on the lookout for you.
