Donges Bay Elementary School

Design & Construction

Donges Bay updates include an addition to the south side of the building that will feature additional classrooms, music/art areas, and gymnasium space. A cafeteria expansion will accommodate increasing student enrollment and restrooms will be renovated to improve accessibility for those with mobility impairments and increased hygiene safety. Traffic circulation and queuing will be reconfigured to create better flow at pick-up and drop-off times. As part of the change, bus traffic will be routed around the back of the school. As part of the project, all three elementary schools will be connected to municipal water and receive enhanced fire suppression and alarm systems. Playgrounds at all elementary schools will be improved to feature accessibility for students of all abilities.
