SteffenENGAGE: All In!
The SteffenENGAGE executive board welcomes all Steffen families to our organization! SteffenENGAGE is our school’s parent-teacher organization. Our goal is to build community and create engagement at our school for the students, parents and staff. We want everyone to be a part of our community and to have a voice. While middle school is a time to allow our children more independence, we believe that it is also incredibly important to stay connected and ENGAGED with their school and all who make up this community.
What does SteffenENGAGE do?
We work to enhance the student, parent and staff experience through many different activities and offerings: book fairs, spirit wear, volleyball tournament, teacher conference meals/snacks, Staff Appreciation Week meals and gifts, general meetings with relevant speaker topics, social events, 8th Grade promotion events, and more!
How does SteffenENGAGE do it?
As part of our commitment to community building, there will be no membership fees for the current school year - every family is automatically a “member” of SteffenENGAGE.
In order to sustain our support of the school and staff, as well as continue to provide the activities and events that our students enjoy, SteffenENGAGE requires both financial and volunteer support:
- Donations are always graciously accepted through Membership Toolkit on the ‘Store and Forms’ page; this option is available throughout this school year.
- The Spartan Fund runs through the month of October and is our only major fundraiser during the school year. You can make a difference by donating to the Spartan Fund - please watch for communications on this opportunity!
- There are many opportunities to volunteer through donations of time and goods - please watch for various communications about volunteer needs!
Stay in touch with SteffenENGAGE!
Our board and committees will communicate with families throughout the year through our SteffenENGAGE Membership Toolkit site; this is the hub for all SteffenENGAGE information and activities.
To ensure that you are staying informed, please verify your information ANNUALLY in Membership Toolkit by doing the following:
- Open the Membership Toolkit website
- Click on the Register/Login button
- For Returning Users:
- Login using your email and password
- Complete both the Parent and Student Information and Directory Publish Preferences
- Select your Volunteer Interest Areas (if any apply)
- For New Users:
- Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
- Click "Verify My Email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
- Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process:
- Complete both the Parent and Student Information and Directory Publish Preferences
- Select your Volunteer Interest Areas (if any apply)
