Educational Services

The Educational Services Department's purpose is to provide leadership to teaching staff, student services, curricular specialists, and administrative staff in the area of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The department implements programs and strategies to ensure the continuous improvement of the education systems in accordance with the mission and strategic plan of the district. The work associated within this department directly impacts the school district’s ability to maximize the academic achievement and personal growth of each student.

The focus of the Educational Services Department is to ensure that student learning opportunities provided by the school district prepare students for post-secondary education options to foster successful professional careers. The mission of the department is to meet the needs of all learners through the implementation of aligned curriculum and assessment, the implementation of best instructional practices, and intentional use of data to foster collegial collaboration, increase academic achievement, and establish a growth mindset so that all students can learn. The following summarizes the key components of the comprehensive approach the department takes to ensure that all students develop the skills necessary to meet the challenges of a changing global environment.
