Late Start Days
Our schedule includes eight late start dates over the course of the school year. On late start days, school begins at 9:40 a.m. for students. Late start days provide opportunities for Homestead educators to work in teams to ensure that consistent, high-quality instructional practices are shared and modeled among all educators. Educators analyze common assessments, plan student activities based on findings, and align curriculum within and across departments. Late start days are identified on the master calendar.
