Our School
Mission
The mission of the Oriole Lane Elementary School community is to inspire students to engage in their intellectual, social, and emotional growth, now and in the future.
Meet the Principal
At Oriole Lane Elementary School we are dedicated in our commitment to academic excellence and rigor with support. We believe that all children have the capacity to learn. Our goal is to help students take personal responsibility for their learning. The staff at Oriole Lane is comprised of passionate educators that work hard to meet the individual educational, social, and emotional needs of all our students. Our dedication to personalizing the learning experiences and opportunities for our students is paramount to their success.
With the commitment to academic excellence comes a responsibility toward goodness. Goodness is a critical component of our work with young children at Oriole Lane. Not only do we expect students to show respect for others, we also involve students in various community service opportunities throughout the year. The goal is to increase the awareness of the needs of others and establish volunteer service projects in which students, families, and staff can participate. These efforts provide a format for students to increase their self-esteem, leadership skills, and communication skills. It is our hope that this level of involvement as a child will promote life-long interest in giving, leadership and volunteerism.
We also believe that the success of every child is a team effort. As parents and educators, we know there is no work more important than preparing our children to take on the world. Oriole Lane School embraces parents as partners. Parental input, support, and cooperation are a key ingredient to the success of each child. Parental involvement in education is valued and encouraged. This support to making learning a high priority is crucial to each child’s success.
Please contact me with any questions you may have about our school.
