Experience the Magic of Disney’s Frozen at Homestead High School! 

THIS WEEKEND! Join us for Disney’s beloved musical Frozen, a heartwarming and breathtaking story of two sisters who must brave the elements—and their differences—to discover the true power of love, courage, and family. Featuring unforgettable songs, dazzling visuals, and a talented student cast, this production is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

All performances will be held at the Homestead High School James Barr Performing Arts Center.

• February 5–7, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
• February 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE - MAXIMUM of 30 kids combined between Lakeshore and Steffen

SOME TENNIS EXPERIENCE NEEDED - MUST BE ABLE TO SERVE OVERHAND AND KNOW SCORING - THIS IS A LEAGUE NOT INSTRUCTIONAL

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE - MAXIMUM of 30 kids combined between Lakeshore and Steffen

SEASON:Tryouts/team placement - TBA. Season will be April 6th through May 22nd. Practice and matches - Approx 5-7 practices and 5-7 matches

COST: $100 includes T-shirt and court time for practices and matches (non-refundable fee - no money back for inclement weather)

COACHES: Looking for 2 coaches - all players will be contacted by their coach prior to season starting with practice and match schedules

6th and 7th grade Course Registration  for 2026-2027

In January, families with current 6th and 7th grade students received an email about course registration for the 2026-2027 school year, primarily regarding choosing their Related Arts/World Language ("RA/WL") courses and Band/Orchestra/Choir/Academic Assistance ("BOCA") courses.

In January, families with current 6th and 7th grade students received an email about course registration for the 2026-2027 school year, primarily regarding choosing their Related Arts/World Language ("RA/WL") courses and Band/Orchestra/Choir/Academic Assistance ("BOCA") courses.

The email to the 7th grade families also included a personalized recommendation from Mrs. Houdek, our math specialist, regarding their 8th grade math choices.

Virtual One School, One Movie Event

This February, in recognition of Black History Month, Steffen is hosting a virtual One School, One Movie event. Steffen families are encouraged to watch the documentary A Ballerina’s Tale: The Incredible Rise of Misty Copeland.

This February, in recognition of Black History Month, Steffen is hosting a virtual One School, One Movie event. Steffen families are encouraged to watch the documentary A Ballerina’s Tale: The Incredible Rise of Misty Copeland. The film profiles Misty Copeland’s groundbreaking career, detailing her journey to overcome injury while advocating for a more inclusive and diverse future in the arts. We encourage you to watch for the themes of resilience throughout the documentary and are providing a discussion guide that can be used to to foster a deeper understanding of the movie's themes.

Steffen Volleyball Tournament- Thursday March 19th

Bump, Set and Spike with your Steffen friends! The annual Steffen Volleyball tournament is happening on Thursday, March 19th starting at 5:30 pm. Each grade level will play teams in the same grade, and there will be one champion team per grade!
