Incoming Freshman Academic Information Night - Jan 5th

On Monday, January 5th, Homestead High School will host an Incoming Freshman Academic Information Night at 6:00 PM in the Homestead Performing Arts Center.

On Monday, January 5th, Homestead High School will host an Incoming Freshman Academic Information Night at 6:00 PM in the Homestead Performing Arts Center.

In addition, on Tuesday, January 6th, the Freshmen Counselor and a Student Panel from Homestead will Visit Steffen during the school day to answer 8th graders' questions about high school and share additional information.

More details about Freshmen Info Night, along with other important high school registration materials, will be mailed home to all families during the week of December 15th.

Steffen French Club

French Club with Madame Maliszewski. Madame is offering a French club for Steffen students interested in learning about French culture in engaging and interactive ways outside of school.

What? French Club with Madame Maliszewski. Madame is offering a French club for Steffen students interested in learning about French culture in engaging and interactive ways outside of school.

Who? French club is limited to 20 students per session. It is open to all sixth to eighth-grade students, whether they are in French class or not. Allez et explorez le français!

When? French club is held in the ICC from 3:20 - 4:45 p.m. on the days listed below. Some sessions have fees, while others are free. Sign up for one or as many as you’d like. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Tuesday, December 9 Indoor Games - Mille Bornes, Paris Métro - free

  • Tuesday, December 16 Movie + fromage (cheese) sampling - $5

  • Tuesday, January 6 Cuisine - $10

  • Tuesday, January 13 Art - Impressionists and Expressionists - $10

  • Tuesday, January 20 Indoor Games - Waiter’s Race, Madame Loup - free

  • Tuesday, January 27 Mardi Gras - $5

Give Back This Season During the Kapco Kids2Kids Toy Drive

Toy collection at Homestead will take place from December 3rd through December 10th. As a reminder, donated toys must be new and unwrapped. Families can drop off toys in the main toy bin located at the attendance office. Toys can also be dropped off at the elementary or middle schools.

What is the Kapco Kids2Kids Toy Drive?

Kapco Kids2Kids is a large-scale annual toy drive in Wisconsin, organized by Kapco, to provide new toys for children in need during the holiday season. Kids2Kids only accepts new and unwrapped toys for donation.

Toy Collection at Homestead

Giving Globe will be set up in the front student office entrance for families to grab a snowflake tag targeted at a specific age group of need for Kapco. The item(s) can then be purchased and brought back to Homestead unwrapped and placed in our toy collection bin.

Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch, or whose families fill out an alternate income household form and qualify, are eligible for a DPI scholarship to cover the cost of the program. Please see the attached DPI scholarship form in English and Spanish if a family needs help filling
