Children in MTSD's 5-year-old kindergarten program (5K) experience a high-quality early-learning program that enhances our young learners' early understanding of literacy, numeracy and social-emotional learning. Passionate and dedicated teachers nurture children's innate curiosity as they prepare students for a promising future.
MTSD's 5K is a full-day program; children must be at least five-years-old on or before September 1 of that school year in order to enroll.
We invite parents/guardians to schedule a visit in order to meet the principal, ask questions and see the 4K classroom in action. Please contact your home school directly to make an appointment with your school's principal.

Transportation is available on existing bus routes for both morning and afternoon sections. Service is also provided between the school and approved childcare providers within your child's school attendance zone for families requiring wrap-around service. This is referred to as alternative transportation.
Kids’ Campus is a Before and After School Program offered by the Mequon-Thiensville School District and Recreation Department. Kids’ Campus is available for children in 4K through 5th grade. Programs are conveniently located at Donges Bay, Oriole Lane, and Wilson elementary schools to ensure a smooth transition between the school day and before and after school care.
Parents are asked to pre-register their child for 4K (or 5K if the child will be new to MTSD) on March 15, 2018. Pre-registration is held in-person at Range Line conference Room, located at 11040 N. Range Line Road. It is open between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Pre-registration allows us to develop class rosters and determine staffing to meet projected enrollment. Through pre-registration, parents will select their preferred morning or afternoon program option. Program times are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring your child’s original birth certificate and proof of residency to pre-registration.
After the pre-registration date in March, parents can pre-register at the district office, 5000 W. Mequon Road, during business hours 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note that a child's placement is subject to available space. You must bring your child’s original birth certificate and proof of residency to pre-register.
Following pre-registration, parents will also be asked to enroll their child online (beginning in July) and attend in-person registration day (held in August). We will provide further information regarding these activities in advance.
