The Mequon-Thiensville School District (MTSD) is proud to announce that Elizabeth Streubel, Assistant Principal of Wilson Elementary School, has been selected by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) as a member of the National Outstanding Assistant Principals “Class of 2026.” Streubel is one of only 29 assistant principals from across the United States to receive this prestigious honor. The program recognizes elementary and middle-level assistant principals who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the students, staff, and communities they serve.

In November 2025, Streubel was also recognized by The Association of Wisconsin School Administrators as its 2026 Wisconsin Elementary Associate Principal of the Year.
