4K Pre-Registration Coming Soon

The pre-registration window for four-year-old kindergarten and new kindergarten students is opening soon. The purpose of pre-registration is to get a good idea of 4K enrollment projections in order to develop class rosters and determine staffing. Families can also indicate their morning or afternoon class preference, and gather some useful information.

The pre-registration window will open on March 1, 2021 and close on May 1, 2021.

Wilson Temporarily Transitioning to Distance Learning on 10/19

Earlier this week, we shared that all students at Wilson Elementary School will temporarily transition to distance learning beginning Monday, October 19. The reason for this shift is due to an increase in the number of students and staff affected by COVID-19 as either a positive case or a close contact, rendering them unable to participate in on campus instruction. It is expected that all Wilson students who have chosen to engage in on campus learning will be able to return to school on Thursday, October 29.

Wilson families received an email update from Principal Sulsberger this afternoon and can stay up-to-date on additional information by visiting this school closure website. As always, we appreciate the flexibility, understanding, and resiliency of our entire MTSD community.

Wildcat Community Gathers at Monthly Community Circle

Being a Wildcat is all about community! At this Community Circle, we celebrated students recognized for Positive Office Referrals, awarded Specialist Awards, named Students of the Month, recognized Student Council Representatives, and celebrated achieving our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) goal by setting a new, even more ambitious target for the next part of the year! Kindergarten shared pictures from their field trip, and 5th Grade taught us assembly and group gathering expectations. It's so exciting - and inspiring - to share these memories and achievements together!
