Recreation Department

The Mequon-Thiensville School District oversees the community's recreation department, allowing us to provide even more opportunities to the community we serve, including a wide range of enrichment opportunities. The role of the M-T Recreation Department is to create a closer partnership between school and community through greater use of school facilities and resources.

Information for Volunteers

Volunteers are important people in our community! School and recreation volunteers provide valuable supplemental support to teachers and students and provide vital human resources to enrich the educational experience. We are so grateful for all of our volunteers.

Keeping our students, faculty and staff safe is a top priority. To help ensure safety, we have developed guidelines for volunteers. In addition, background screens for volunteers are a necessity. We have contracted with an online provider to facilitate quality background checks for our potential volunteers.
