Mequon-Thiensville School District

2020-2021 School Year

After reviewing all options for carefully and responsibly returning to our buildings for the 2020-2021 school year, the Mequon-Thiensville School District began offering both On Campus and Distance Learning options for our students on September 8, 2020.

In consultation with local and state health department officials, physicians, nurses, and public health experts, we developed a Responsible Return Operating Plan that has guided our school operations.

In preparation for our responsible return, we have carefully considered how to accommodate the instructional, health, social and emotional needs of our students, faculty, and staff. Our guiding principles have set the foundation for how our organization will operate in the 2020-2021 school year. We are committed to providing meaningful and effective instruction, an equitable approach to education, and a safe working and learning environment.

Our plans for a responsible return to school for the 2020-2021 academic year include:

On Campus Learning

A return to On Campus Learning five days per week with practical measures in place to mitigate the spread of disease
